About Cheryl Hanback

Cheryl Hanback Consulting opened its doors in 2000. Cheryl is the web designer people look forward to seeing. No, really! Her business is part of a virtual network of independent consultants providing a full range of consulting services to for profit and nonprofit organizations from New York to Hawaii.

Specializing in helping organizations get their message out via the web, Cheryl Hanback has helped many organizations, both large and small, through the process of planning and implementing technology solutions.

After serving as Manager of Information Services at Reproduction Systems, Inc., Cheryl spent over 12 years at the Center for Management Assistance (CMA), a nonprofit management assistance program, directing their internal technology as well as developing the technology consulting area and community technology programs. During her tenure as Director of Information Services at CMA, she developed the Technology Assistance Program, computer application training programs and produced the Y2K Survival Guide for Nonprofits.

Ms. Hanback has served on many boards and nonprofit technology committees including, CANBE, Leavenworth Area Development, Women Vision International, Leave A Legacy, Community Resource Network, Coalition for Community Collaborations, TOGETHERNET, Tonganoxie Chamber and the annual National Technology Enterprise Network conference planning committee. She was also the recipient of the 2000 President's Award - Greater Kansas City Council on Philanthropy.

Ms. Hanback holds her Masters of Science in Instructional Design from Emporia State University (Emporia was chosen as one of the 10 Leading Schools of Education by George Lucas' EDUTOPIA) and her undergraduate degree from Park University, Parkville, MO where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Ms Hanback began designing web sites in 1996 as evidenced by her first web site for the Greater Kansas City Council on Philanthropy

We work with our clients to determine how much they would like to be involved in the maintenance of their site. We can do all of the maintenance, or the client can, or it can be a shared responsibility.

I find that being a better instructor enables me to be more effective in helping my clients both in design and support. I teach online and on ground.
