City of Fountains
kcfountains.org

I created a database to help track all the fountains in Kansas City. I also did a lot of the photography on this site.

Wally Amos (Famous Amos)
wallyamos.com

My approach was to help Wally translate his motto, "Helping people feel good about themselves" into
a web site. I "invented" the CyberAsk and CyberThanks areas
for him and helped him find other ways to get his motto across.

AIDS Walk Kansas City 2002, 2003, 2004

On a Saturday in the spring, thousands of people meet at Mill Creek Park on the country Club Plaza for this region's largest AIDS fundraising event. In April of 2000, nearly 3,500 people participated by walking that day and thousands of more people participated by sponsoring those walkers. Their combined efforts raised money for the brave men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Kansas City.

Spofford
spoffordhome.org

Working with the child, the family and the community, Spofford provides therapeutic and preventative services.

Nautical Trivia
nauticaltrivia.com

Nautical Trivia is the first board game that combines the strategy of a sailing race with the popular concept of a trivia game. My approach was to help them create a site that graphically represented the game, but work within their budget.

CANBE
canbe.org

CANBE, is a membership organization. I helped this organization define their needs and created a very easy-to-navigate, and easy-to-maintain site. It was redesigned in the Fall of 2002.

The Shehane Connection
shehaneconnection.com

A nonprofit consulting firm from Kansas City with a lot of history.

Write Where You Are
Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg

This is a Lawrence writer and teacher who wanted to let people know about her classes, books and ideas.

Watkins Woolen Mill
State Historic  Site and Park

This site is rich with text and photos.  It was the first web site to be designed using the Missouri Department of Natural Resources' new web format.

KC150
I worked very closely with KC150's staff to keep this site fresh during KC's sesquicentennial. This site was taken down after the celebration year.

KCPhilanthroNET

With this site, I facilitated the planning with a volunteer committee and helped them develop their concepts to be coordinated with the newsletter.

I brought ideas to the table, such as KCPhilZINE - a bimonthly newsletter.

I received the the 2000 President's Award for my contributions to this organization.

Watkins Mill Association
This was a small site done in conjunction with the Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site and Park.  Some of the pictures, such as the one above, were taken by me.
Latino-Net
Latino-Net
A grant was made to 12 Hispanic-serving agencies.  I worked with each agency to develop a very simple site that they could maintain.  I also managed the grant and coordinated training all the agencies in Windows, Word and HTML.
Minute Circle
This site was designed with simplicity in mind.
The Cabot Clinic
Working with the Executive Director, Cabot wanted a very simple, clean site with just a few pages so the staff could maintain it.
Women's Foundation of
Greater Kansas City
A basic site that is only updated annually so that grantees may apply.
Ad Hoc Group Against Crime

This site was completely directed by the client. The agency has since merged with another organization.

I've also used Internet technology in creative ways to teach staff how to use equipment, communicate findings from a trip, sharing information quickly and graphically, and holiday messages.
