City of Fountains
kcfountains.org
I created a database to help track all the
fountains in Kansas City. I also did a lot of the photography
on this site.

Wally Amos (Famous Amos)
wallyamos.com
My approach was to help Wally translate his motto, "Helping
people feel good about themselves" into
a web site. I "invented" the CyberAsk and CyberThanks areas
for him and helped him find other ways to get his motto
across. |

AIDS Walk Kansas City 2002, 2003, 2004
On a Saturday in the spring, thousands of
people meet at Mill Creek Park on the country Club Plaza
for this region's largest AIDS fundraising event. In April
of 2000, nearly 3,500 people participated by walking that
day and thousands of more people participated by sponsoring
those walkers. Their combined efforts raised money for
the brave men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS
in Kansas City.

KC150
I
worked very closely with KC150's staff to keep this site fresh
during KC's sesquicentennial. This site was taken down after
the celebration year. |

KCPhilanthroNET
With
this site, I facilitated the planning with a volunteer
committee and helped them develop their concepts to
be coordinated with the newsletter.
I
brought ideas to the table, such as KCPhilZINE - a bimonthly
newsletter.
I
received the the 2000 President's Award for my contributions
to this organization.

Latino-Net
A
grant was made to 12 Hispanic-serving agencies. I worked
with each agency to develop a very simple site that they could
maintain. I also managed the grant and coordinated training
all the agencies in Windows, Word and HTML. |

Hoc Group Against Crime
This
site was completely directed by the client. The
agency has since merged with another organization. |
 |
Training
Even before I did design for others, I
used internet technology in creative ways such as using a web site to help staff with how to attach a modem. |
