More than 300 children, teenagers and adults receive counseling

Dawn Herbet, Director of Older Adult Initiatives- speaks to groups about the JET Transportation programs. This includes JET Financial Assistance Program, JET Financial Assistance Program for Persons with Disabilities, JET Express, and a JET/CenterSeason partnership with the JCC. Susie Hurst, C.H.A.I./Adolescent Specialist- offers a variety of Preventive Education topics, from a Jewish perspective, for teens, parents, educators, and youth workers. She has five special workshop series that are: Driving Risk Awareness, Life Skills, Parent Empowerment, Peer Support Training, and 7 Habits of Highly Effective Jewish Teens. Some topics include: anti-semitism, bullying, cliques, communication skills, conflict resolution, dating, family dynamics, friendship, healthy relationships, Internet Safety, Peer Pressure, Jewish Identity, Self Image, Sexuality, Stress, Substance Abuse, Suicide Prevention, Tolerance/Diversity, and Values.
