deskercise

Do you have pain in your neck and shoulders from sitting at your computer? I sure do. I did a survey of over 200 people and I found that most of the pain people experience is in the back, shoulder and neck areas with 22%, 21% and 20% reporting respectively.

To help alleviate the pain and loss of mobility from sitting too long at the computer, I developed the following exercises that might help you.

Choose from 3 exercises. None of these exercises are too hard, but you should always check with a doctor before doing any exercise. They involve stretching those parts of your body that you don’t move while you are sitting at the computer. These will not make any drastic changes in your body, but you might find that you enjoy doing them.

Basic Deskercise
An easy set of exercises to be done at your desk

Intermediate Deskercise
A little more difficult than the basic exercise to be done at your desk
Standing Deskercise
The most strenuous set of exercises to be done while standing
